Adenosine is a prescription drug used for conversion to sinus rhythm of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PVST), including that associated with accessory bypass tracts (Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome).
- To treat certain types of arrhythmias such as paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT), Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome
- Used as diagnostic for Stress Testing and evaluating heart disease (such as arrhythmia) in adults
