Amiodarone Injection is an antiarrhythmic drug which used to treat life-threatening irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias) and to maintain a normal heart rate in patients who have not responded to other medications.
- Initiation of treatment and prophylaxis of frequently recurring ventricular fibrillation
- Hemodynamically unstable ventricular tachycardia in patients refractory to other therapy.
