Metolazone a diuretic, antihypertensive drug used for the treatment of edema. Usually prescribed to treat high blood pressure, fluid retention (oedema) or heart failure.
- Lowering high blood pressure (hypertension). i.e heart disease, heart attacks and strokes
- Treating fluid retention (oedema) i.e heart failure, liver cirrhosis or kidney disease
